Sausage Bites

ingredients
- ½ T Taste OVS Mushroom and Sage Olive Oil
- ¼ c onion, chopped
- 2 T Taste OVS Gravenstein Apple White Balsamic
- ½ c jam
- ¼ c spicy brown mustard
- 1 lb Italian Sweet Sausage
- 2 T chopped fresh sage
- Breadcrumbs
instructions
Preheat oven to 450°. In a small pot over medium heat, add oil and sauté onions until translucent. Add balsamic and reduce by half, stir continuously. Remove pan from heat and combine jam and mustard. Stir until fully incorporated. In a mixing bowl, combine sausage and sage. Add 2 T of dip to the sausage and mix well. Form balls into bite size and coat with breadcrumbs. Place on parchment paper and bake 15-17 minutes or until 165°. Serve on a plate with dipping sauce.
